At The Riverside Dietitians we can provide you with dietetic support your gut health and manage your symptoms of IBS.
We support adults and teenagers in-person in Nottinghamshire, and virtually across the UK. If you are struggling with any of the following symptoms, we can help:
Bloating, wind, gas, stomach pain, constipation, loose stools
Dietitians are the only registered nutrition professionals who can help manage these symptoms. We use only evidence based advice to ensure that we can resolve your symptoms without compromising your health. We are trained in using the low FODMAP diet where appropriate manage your symptoms and provide life-long relief. The low FODMAP diet is a complicated elimination diet which requires the support of a dietitian. There is a high risk of the diet not working or excessive restrictions when you try and manage this alone.
We provide hard copies of the King's College London FODMAP books which have been adapted from the original MONASH diet for the UK population.
Appointments are well structed and informative allowing time to thoroughly discuss your symptoms and concerns, provide you with a bespoke plan and answer any questions that you may have. Our packages include unlimited messaging support between sessions to answer any additional questions that you may have.
Is this right for me?
Our Low FODMAP package consists of 1x 60 minute initial consultation and 3x 45 minute review appointments to fully assess your nutritional health and understand your digestive issues. It takes approximately 3-6 months to fully complete the Low FODMAP diet including the elimination and reintroductions phases.

Weight, height, BMI, blood pressure and Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) to determine muscle and fat % (only available at our Nottinghamshire clinic)

How we work.

All of our appointments are held on a 1:1 basis with a specialist and highly experienced dietitian. We are friendly and compassionate and always hold you at the centre of your care.

During the appointments we will discuss your medical and nutritional background and discuss your goals. We will provide education around your diet and nutrition and collaboratively create a plan that is realistic and achievable for you as an individual.

All of our appointments last 1 hour and are available either virtually or in-person at our Nottinghamshire clinic.

We are very flexible with our appointments, most people like to be reviewed weekly or monthly but we can work around you and your schedule. We offer appointments during the day, evening and on specific weekends. We are available between sessions for unlimited messaging support to best support you on your journey.
